Now it's easier than ever to equalize the air pressure in two tires at the same time. It's important to balance your air pressure for optimum performance on your dually, Top Kick, trailer or daily driver, the proper pressure balance can result in better tire wear, longer tire life, reduced friction, and better mileage. We recently learned about the Psiclops, which is specially calibrated to perform this double-barreled task. Its illuminated dial (batteries included) is another added feature, and the Psiclops comes in low-pressure (for race tires) and high-pressure models, for standard passenger cars, trucks and trailers.

Psiclops is equipped with a short and long hose, each of which has a positive locking "quick chuck" to clip onto your valve stems. If you need to equalize two tires that are over-inflated, that's easily done by depressing the bleeder button. Likewise, if you need to add air to both tires, there's a Schrader valve on the bottom of the handle, which allows you to increase pressure in both tires from your air source. The only caution is not to use an air supply that is greater than the capacity of the particular Psiclops you're using. It's packaged in a molded plastic case that's easy to store.
