Drag racing aside, IMP tailors and orchestrates successful marketing programs such as the IBM/Lenovo Microsoft On-Demand(tm) Tour that demonstrated the client's ThinkPad benefits to some 200,000 college students nationwide during the '05 and '06 school year. IMP's V.P. Sales & Marketing, Gary Novak, shared the comments he received from William Moore, product manager for IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad. Moore commented, "We were very pleased with how easy it was to pull off our college tour using the On-Demand(tm) tour package offered by In Motion Promotion. If intercept marketing is important to you and you have a tight budget, I highly recommend this program." Novak was quick to point out that his company specializes in a broad range of tour, display and hospitality products and services.

Back to the world of NHRA POWERade Championship Drag Racing, IMP kicked off its Hospitality Business Unit in 2006, working with Okuma, the official machine tool of NHRA. This world leader in the manufacture of CNC machining centers (and related equipment) had already partnered with Bill Miller's Top Fuel Dragster. That was a good fit, as the long-time Top Fuel racer/owner has several Okuma machines online at Bill Miller Engineering in Carson City, Nevada, producing pistons and connecting rods for various racing disciplines. Seth Machlus, Okuma marketing manager, added, "The success of the 2006 Okuma NHRA hospitality tour could not have been realized without In Motion Promotion. By using IMP's inventory, we were able to access a well-equipped tractor-trailer and launch our hospitality tour for much less than if we had purchased our own assets outright. Thank you, IMP!"

Throughout the 2006 season, Okuma entertained 2,500 of its top distributors at NHRA events and used those opportunities for ongoing sales promotion, while providing an exciting atmosphere that most visitors were never exposed to. The program proved so popular during the Auto Club of Southern California Finals last November, Okuma announced its plans to partner with In Motion Promotion once again for its 2007 NHRA road tour. In today's day and age, that speaks volumes for the level of service and commitment put forth by IMP.

Now that you're armed with a thumbnail sketch of this unique way to deliver a product message across the nation, entertain corporate guests, or have a stunning trade show presence, you may be inclined to understand that drag racing hospitality is no small task. However, the transportation pros at In Motion Promotion have the equipment and the experience to make it stress-free. Gary Novak, VP sales & marketing will be happy to answer questions regarding any of the services provided by IMP. His contact information is listed below. DR
